Workshops

Murals of Baltimore and Mr. Michael Kirby has been conducting workshops and classes for mural painting to students of all ages and backgrounds. Mr. Kirby has traveled across the United States and worked around the world to teach the art of mural painting to novices and experts. The studio and Mr. Kirby work with schools (private and public), non-profits, community organizations, festivals, museums, and all types of organizations to share the art of mural painting. Mr. Kirby has been a part of the Maryland Arts in Education program for over 10 years. Mr. Kirby works through the State of Maryland, Washington DC, and the Mid-Atlantic hosting and presenting mural workshops.

Students learn how to make their own materials and to design for large scale murals. Mr. Kirby goes over the history of mural painting from the very beginning to today. With Mr. Kirby’s unique experience as an artist, he is able to share one of kind information with students that will last a life time.
