Big Pine Fire Station

Murals of Baltimore was contracted to create a series of murals on the exterior of the new Big Pine Key Fire Station 13 in Monroe County, Florida. The studio also created a concrete statue for the exterior of a Firemen’s Helmet that was decorated with the station’s logo. The studio used live models to create a fireman facing an American Flag that was a collection of stenciled images of a fireman with the corresponding colors of the American Flag. The various vignettes and images show scenes of firefighters in the Florida Keys accompanied by birds and vegetation of the Florida Keys and Monroe County. Murals of Baltimore has been working in Key West, Monroe County and Florida for over 30 years creating Public Art.

The art work is located at 390 Key Deer Blvd in Big Pine Key, Florida.
