Sen Pedro Semana Santa Parade

Murals of Baltimore and Mr. Michael Kirby was contracted by Artcorps and a Presidential Commission of Guatemala to work in the area of Lago Atitlan for one year creating a series of public art pieces. Mr. Kirby worked with local artists to build floats for statues and other religious icons for the Semana Santa parade. The floats were sculpted out of wood, Styrofoam and other materials to be carried by groups of men on their shoulders.
